What Are The FactorsThat Affect The Needling Force In The Needle Punched Non Woven Process?

2022-08-29

Needle Punched Non Woven Fabric is a kind of Non Woven Fabric. They are made of polyester, polyester and polypropylene raw materials, and are made by multiple needle punches and appropriate heat - pressing treatment. According to different processes, with different materials, tens of thousands of products are made. Needle Punched Non Woven is used in all walks of life, and various specifications can be customized according to different purposes.

Needling force is the resistance that the needle receives when piercing the fiber web during the needling process. It is a dynamic generated by the contact and friction between the fiber being held and the surrounding fibers still in the fiber web when the needle is holding a part of the fiber web.

The change process of the needle can indirectly reflect the transfer effect and damage degree of the needle to the fiber during the acupuncture process. Through the test of the ballast force, the rationality of the process parameters such as the frequency of acupuncture, the depth of acupuncture and the density of acupuncture can be further studied. The dynamic curve of the needling force of the needle can be measured by installing a load cell on the needling machine ( Figure 4 - 37 ). When the needles start to penetrate the web, the web is not yet tight, and the needling force increases slowly. When the needles go deeper, the number of barbs entering the fiber web increases gradually, and the frictional resistance increases when the barbs hold the fibers to pierce the fiber web. In addition, the structure of the fiber web is gradually tightened, and the needling force increases sharply, reaching the maximum value. When the needles and barbs gradually penetrate the bottom of the fiber web, the resistance of the fiber web to the needles decreases, and the needling force gradually decreases in the form of fluctuations.

The factors that affect the needling force are:
(1) Fiber length, linear density, friction factor. When processing long and thin fibers, the needling force increases: when the fiber friction factor is large, the needling force is also relatively large.
(2) When the density of the fiber web is relatively large, the needling force increases.
(3) When the weight of the fiber web is large or there is a base fabric in the fiber web, the needling force increases.
(4) Acupuncture force generally increases with the increase of acupuncture frequency.
(5) The needling force increases with the depth of needling.
(6) Acupuncture force increases with the increase of acupuncture density.
